Hand Built Wood Surfboards
Timberline Surfboards are custom built in Santa Barbara, California. Each board is hand crafted by Raphael Wolfe (the woodworking) and Ryan Lovelace (the shapes and designs).
Raphael’s depth of woodworking knowledge provides us with endless opportunities to use different techniques in order to build very beautiful and strong boards .
Ryan has been building custom surfboards as Point Concept for the past three years. He specializes in fish shapes (quad & twins) as well as classic singlefins, longboards, hulls and stubbies. Every shape from Timberline has roots in Ryan’s work in custom board building.
Together we believe that we can provide the surfing community with boards that are extremely strong, and do not come with the extra weight associated with wood surfboards.
Our boards weigh little more than an average polyester board; for example our current TT fish model weighs 6.5 lbs, only one pound heavier than an off the rack fish. When looked after properly they should last a lifetime.
